five-review   9 Reviews

You have a great website, and a lot of sales are coming in. And suddenly, you have zero sales.

When you are visiting your own website, you are surprised (not in a good way) to see that it’s down, and you have no idea how or when.

You did everything perfectly and one thing makes all your efforts null.

StatusPing to the Rescue

StatusPing monitors your overall website health like uptime, downtime, SSL certificates expiry, Speed and performance of your site.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Get alerts on Email, Slack & MS Teams when your websites go down & loads slowly
  • Alternative to: HyperPing, Statuscake
  • Invite Unlimited Team Members to work with you
  • Best suited for: anyone who owns, maintains, designs, and develops website(s).

Once you create your StatusPing account, a comprehensive dashboard of your site performance shows up according to your timelines.

So whenever your site is down or facing issues to load faster, StatusPing diagnoses the problems for you and checks them for every 30 seconds.

You can add as many sites to monitor(depending on your plan) and get direct insights about your website health.

It’s your business, your site, and everything of you. You probably have too many things to handle and keeping track of your site performance may slip out of your hands.

It could cost your business and leave you in splits.

By adding team members to your account, your team is kept in the loop of the site’s performance. Add unlimited members through an invitation link and your team gets to notify about site downtime.

And a fairly easy way to stay notified about your site's performance is enabling notifications for multiple channels. Receive updates on uptime monitoring, SSL expiry notifications through Email, Slack, Microsoft Teams & SMS.

You might think that uptime monitoring is something not that big a deal. It’s not with StatusPing’s efficient uptime monitoring system.

But security is also something you should be concerned about. SSL certificates make sites secure and robust against financial transactions, exchange of sensitive information thereby preventing data leakage.

As site owners or developers, optimising site performance is crucial. While site monitoring seems possible, getting a detailed brief on site component mishaps and tests performed can simplify our lives.

Status pages in StatusPing gives you transparency through incident reports, real-time updates, and custom domain support for public/private pages.

A tool that is secure and important like this can make you think it could be expensive.

You can track upto 10 websites for just $19 (one-time), and 200 websites for less than $0.50 at just $95/lifetime today.

Start monitoring now...

Simple and yet enough features

The interface is tidy and "just works". Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to display the performance on the status pages (but that's grumbling on a high level).

Trusting a good roadmap: 5 out of 5 :-)

Very nice tool to monitor websites and services

StatusPing does everything I need for monitoring my services and websites. I am very happy with the easy to use and beautiful UI. Maybe it would be a nice feature, if also custom ports can be monitored with a simple ping, so that application servers (e.g. databases, game servers, etc.) can be monitored.

It simply works, very clean interface

As a long time user of Hexometer I was looking for a sleek solution helping me to monitor the uptime of various sites. Though Hexometer is fine, it's lacking some (for me) important things:

- a centralized view: One page with all interesting metrics (performance, uptime) for these sites

- public dashboards and custom domains

- authentication parameters

- Team features

Thanks for bringing this deal to SaasMantra :)

I am really surprised

I bought the top tier as an agency to test this out - put in about 10 of our domains and was really surprised by how easy it was to setup. I'm really excited about being able to put all clients on this and get rid of some other subscriptions. Also excited that they are going to continue to develop the platform!

I wanted to ask you some things I'm having issues with before giving a review.

1. Status Pages:

-- I added all the Subdomains that go with the main domain. One of them had a SSL problem, and it showed in the back office that it was off-line, but it showed it was still operational on the Status Page. Wasn't it supposed to give a red checkmark for this?

2. Component Description:

-- I've tried to add descriptions underneath of each one of my sub domains and was unable to see them on the Status Page. Is this supposed to happen or is it supposed to show or am I doing something wrong?

1. Is it be possible to monitor website performance from multiple regions/locations?

-- Currently, only a primary location can be set for uptime monitoring. I tried adding multiple monitors for different locations (e.g. "website.com - New York", "website.com - London") but creating a 2nd monitor with the same URL is not allowed. Better Uptime monitors performance from 4 regions by default, and it's very useful.

2. Do you plan to add integrations for importing data from sources like Datadog, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, etc?

3. Do you have docs about how performance monitoring works?

Hi Sesha,

I have 3 questions:

1. would it be possible to create some kind of folder or main project so that you can merge different URLs under one project? At the moment it is very confusing, because the URLs are all mixed up wildly.

2. would also be a server location for Germany possible?

3. is it possible to buy additional URL checks?

Otherwise I am very satisfied with the tool. Very good work! :-)

Hi Sesha,

1) Im considering your 200 site top-tier promotion.... however would like to understand once the 200 limit is reached, will there a discount specifically for those of us who buy into this now, then require to add more sites to monitor in the future, only as an example on your website it shows $39pm or $390pa to add an additional 50 sites, hence is there a consideration to offer something like a 50% discount for SaaS Mantra early adopters of this deal who then go on to purchase monthly/annual add-on plans. Thanks

2) Looking to utilise mainly for Landing Pages & Funnels, hence on a TLD, there would typically be the main website, then the sub-domains would point to multiple independent Landing Pages or Funnel (ie; 1 page or funnel for each product or service, with some promoted to specific vertical markets, in this example below):-

TLD: MyWebsite.com

Sub: Product10.MyWebsite.com

> Product11.MyWebsite.com/verticalMarket

4b) Would the above example count as monitoring 1 domain, or 12 !?

3) Being able to automatically set up weekly or monthly email to clients showing their site uptime would be vital, as no one has the time to do this manually?

4) ...or better still the ability for clients to have access to log-in area to review their specific uptime stats, etc

5) Will number No.4 be a white-labeled area they log into

Many thanks

Andy

2. Right now, it will count each domain/subdomain/page as one monitor, but we're also working on entire website monitoring to monitor all pages in a website.

3. Yes, You can add your client email address to the notification list.

4. Yes, you can create a separate team for each client and invite them to that team. (But, each team will require one code)

5. No, It's not possible. We have a plan to make white-label in the future.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Q: Rather than monitor as one website as a whole, would you make each URL (the TLD along along with with Sub domains on individual L/Pages) as one.

@sesha: SUPERFAST responses ThankYou Sesha. Now this is def peaking my interest if you set it inclusive of domains & subs! Roughly what kind of ETA guestimate would you think this may take to resolve...weeks....months !?

Like many, I use Namecheap and manage all my domains & sub-domains from their portal...and advise clients to migrate to as well, however, depending o the task

...I use different SaaS Web builders (for example):-

1. Builder A, is good for Websites, Blogs & L/Pages

2. Builder B; is dedicated specifically for Funnels

3. Builder C is for AMP pages

4. Builder D is for creating eComm platform

Hence am considering CloudFlare to manage this centrally so the builder becomes agnostic.

It shouldn't affect your end, as I guess all that is ultimately required is the appropriate URL (TLD + subs) inputting

I have been testing a demo. I noticed that the main dashboard page is useless. The big 2 cards don't help at all... It looks like they were put there to fill up the page.

Instead I would simply show the monitoring page that shows more information at a glance or those sites with problems, notifications of failed events and have a filter to be able to quickly go to the problem. The color of the logo on the "dark" background is annoying, it hurts the eyes ;D

I would like to have the option to translate emails and reports, this is important for our non-English speaking customers.

I would like to be able to classify the sites with labels or folders.

The broken links report is very good, I hope to see it soon and also the domain expiration date.

I would also like to be able to change the default uptime location from the profile. I am interested in London and I have to set this manually for each site.
