What's a Credit?

It seems that the "Contacts per month" concept was confusing. Because of this, we've updated it to "Credits per month".

When it comes to Pirsonal Player and Pirsonal Pages, a credit is equivalent to a generated Video ID.

These credits are renewed every month.

Here's an example:

Let's say that in a month you create 1000 personalized interactive videos with Pirsonal for 1000 contacts. In such a case, you would be consuming 1000 credits.

Let's say that in another month you create 1000 video IDs but for 800 new contacts. Still, you will have consumed 1000 credits.

Exactly what I needed + Lots of potential

I think I understand what Pirsonal is trying to do with this. And I like it. This guys read my mind (I wish I could code!!).

As they say on their website "add superpowers to any video so that your customers react".

To sum up: This is automated, offers scalability, in real-time, with any video. It does what it says.

I would say...:

- We all love video but not every video converts because we all miss the point (closing the sale with a call to action!). With this software, I can "add superpowers" to any of my current and future videos with CTAs and personalisation.

- I don't have time to record and send videos manually every day. I don't even have time or department budget to create the coolest personalised video ever. But I do use video a lot and can repurpose them (or create a video for different segments and use them as some kind of "evergreen" with the personalised CTAs).

- Also, I use automation a lot (mostly through ActiveCampaign). With this, I can have a bunch of videos and automation in place that add personalised CTAs to my videos + personalised landing pages for my leads. On autopilot. That simple. I'm not sure I'll need the CSV tool if can simply update my funnels with this. Something like: Lead submits webform, then Pirsonal makes the video CTA and landing page on the fly, then Pirsonal updates ActiveCampaign, then ActiveCampaign sends the email, then I get the "customer reacts".

- From what I see, there is no limitation in video length, so I'm thinking about also using this to create targeted "personalised webinar pages" which seems far more effective than a generic replay page (or even a YouTube link, which is what I do now). Not sure if I could even use a live feed. Imagine that! Jack is watching the video and boooom! "Jack, would you like to know how we helped X launch Y product?". Using variables according to the lead stage.

A few things I would love to see:

- Pabbly Connect integration (I love and we use Zapier a lot but as we grow it's becoming a bit expensive)

- Or a native integration with ActiveCampaign (I see they have Mailchimp but ActiveCampaign is a better tool for email marketing automation and sales)

- I only bought 1 code (what can I say, first timer here!). It would be AMAZING to get the "People" analytics. Saw the video. It's what I need for ABM. Or maybe sending view/engagement data to ActiveCampaign? Here is what I have in mind: "Because Jack clicked on the CTA, I get an email notification and a call-Jack-now task is added to me". This type of workflow is possible in ActiveCampaign, I just need Pirsonal to send that data there. Maybe through webhooks?

- More training with more use cases. There is a lot of potential here! They have a lot of knowledge base articles but I need more inspiration.

- The CSV Campaign tool could be more like a "drag and drop" style although maybe most people just need to upload a simple file. I use Google Sheets a lot with Zapier to transform data, update contacts, and more in real-time. It would be cool if I could somehow do something like this with Pirsonal ("transformation steps").

- Built-in email tool with automation like I have in ActiveCampaign (drag and drop view?). Although I would probably continue using ActiveCampaign, but would probably prefer an SMTP or something to create big email blasts (across the organisation, because doing this in ActiveCampaign it's a pain in the budget) and SMTP is cheap.

First-time buyer here. Like the tool.

Emailing video instead of sending traditional text is what I need and I bought high tier of Pirsonal offer. It’s is a great opportunity to have personalized video for low price as this is usually very expensive. I regret that this offer appears too soon and it still needs improvement. That is not the first time and won’t be the last on Saasmantra, but the opportunity to get such a great app at this price is fantastic, thanks to Saasmantra & all dynamic developers.

This is not ready for prime ... very disappointing as 1st time experience

I hate to be the first one to review, but I got 2 codes and this has been my experience so far ...

1. No template under gallery - where are they? I clicked on the gallery button and nothing happens

2. Buttons everywhere to upgrade which is super annoying as it looks like all is done just to make me upgrade (Intelligence, Responses, People, Personal Script, Pirsonal Editor) all these buttons/sections are there to tease ... if there are not available please remove them or add them to one section and not all over the place .. not a great 1st-time experience

3. I tried the chat support is I get a bunch of automated and irrelevant replies which add no value. Plus no response yet.

4. why not give more features for 2 codes, same features as 3 tier but with limitations as alternative

I hope you reconsider some of these or will have to refund

Also, "Template Gallery" has no impact at all on what you purchased, so I am glad to see that it does not affect the performance of our software.

About the template, I tried "CSV UTF-8" but it seems not to work. Today, I tried "Comma Separated Values" then it worked!

And here are my questions:

1. May I know if there is a recommended file format for CSV?

@Nana: Hey, I apologize for my late response. I'm glad you are enjoying Pirsonal.

Regarding your questions, let me lend you a hand:

1) I'm not sure about the software you use. If it is Microsoft Excel, try exporting the file as “CSV (Comma delimited)” and that should work. With other applications like Open Office, save the document as CSV and then select UTF-8 and it should work. My favorite one for these things is Google Sheet, simply downloading the sheet as a CSV.

2) Whatever you upload to your account is only accessible by you. Regarding the video IDs you create (Pirsonal Player, Pirsonal Pages), you decide how you share them but in any case, only you know the IDs.

Hi,

Can I use video and image personalization on my website? I have a website which I get the name and email using optin form. I need to get the name and email of the user which will be inside ActiveCampaign and diplay his/her name in my website. I want to have a high personalized landing page for my user. I use ThriveArchitect to build the landing page.

Basically I want to get the Name and Email that is inside ActiveCampaign and diplay them in a Wordpress page built in ThriveArchitect using Pirsonal video, image and text.

Another question: I use Cloudflare. The pages are cached. Will Pirsonal still work in this case?

1) With this LTD, you can personalize the content displayed on top of the video, including image content. BUT Pirsonal does not create personalized image files, you need to provide the image URL.

How?

There are different types of personalized Calls to Action you can add to the videos depending on your needs.

If you want to add a personalized image to our interactive video player over any video, you can use HTML as a Call to Action and display it whenever/wherever you want in the video.

That HTML would have the image you want to personalize. Simply provide the image URL and use that image as a variable (the same way you would do with a hello "first name" in an email, or even the same way you would add an image as a variable in an email by providing the source URL).

If you only want to personalize text, you can use the standard CTA or also use the HTML option.

2) Can you add this to your WordPress site?

Yes. You can embed our player in a WordPress site.

How?

Simply add the video ID that Pirsonal gives you as a URL parameter. This URL with the video ID would show the right video to the user that access the URL. There are a few WordPress plugins that make this easy (updating the content on the page based on URL parameters).

Example: User "John Doe" would access https://your-wp-website.com/landing/v/?id=1234567890, where "1234567890" is the video ID.

@Friday: Yeah it took me a few times to “understand” what they mean. The landing page has a name “Kurnia” (why they didn’t update one with your name Friday is beyond me!) but also the video itself doesn’t display the html, just the Play arrow, click on the three dots on the top right and it displays the html with that same name “Kurnia” and a button to click. When you go to close the html, it plays the video.

However, there is no “custom video” only the player and landing page is customizable.

Important clarifications:

1) Link initially shared with @Friday: https://vid.pirsonal.com/615433c217d5535f943e3f1a. When I secondly replied, I made a mistake and shared a different link, created for another person (Kurnia). 👉 Regardless, as you can see, it is just an example.

2) There are many ways to display the in-video call to action. This can be personalized on a video/contact basis, depending on your configuration and strategy.

In the video example I shared with Friday, the call to action is automatically displayed whenever the following scenarios take place, as per the way I wanted according to MY goal:

- From second 120 to second 180

- At the end of the video

- When the user pauses the video

- When the user requests the CTA (by clicking on the three dots)

The video is automatically resumed when the user closes the CTA, as this is the average expected behavior that delivers the best engagement.

The Call to Action allows different trigger scenarios that are variables (the same way a *|First Name|* personalization tag is in an email). This allows you to be granular and boost conversions depending on the viewer.

Here you have them:

- CTA Start Time: Defines when the Call to Action should be automatically displayed in seconds. Example: 5

- CTA End Time: Defines when the Call to Action should be hidden in seconds. Example: 10

- CTA Duration: Defines the number of seconds a Call to Action should stay on screen in seconds. It requires CTA Start Time to be used. Example: 5

- CTA Open On Click: When set to “true” the Call to Action can be activated by users when clicking on the video’s menu option (three dots, right top). When set to “false”, users can not activate the Call to Action.

- CTA Pause On Show: If set to “true”, the video will be paused whenever the Call to Action is displayed. If set to “false”, the video will not stop when the Call to Action is displayed.

- CTA Show At Start: If set to “true”, the Call to Action will be shown when the user presses the “play” button or plays the video from the beginning. If set to “false”, the Call to Action won’t be shown at the beginning of the video.

- CTA Show At End: If set to “true”, the Call to Action will be shown when the video ends. If set to “false”, the Call to Action won’t be shown at the end of the video.

- CTA Allow Close: If set to “true”, users can close the Call to Action by clicking on the “X” button (top right of the player). If set to “false”, users will not be able to close the Call to Action.

1) I've done a terrible job gathering reviews from our clients over the last 4 years.

Is that possible? I did not see any video in your YT channel which shows this. All your videos show only importing existing customer data in CSV.

5) You have mentioned that you support webhooks. Is it both way webhooks (to send as well as receive data) or is it only for sending the data?

My Use Case: As explained above in point 4, I have enquiry form on my website which supports outgoing webhook (so it can send the data out), but can your application take that data on the fly using incoming webhook? If yes, can you please show the video on this as I did not see it on your YT channel.

6) How do I create the conditional flow chart or work flow inside Pirsonal? e.g. if "this" happens, do "that" - I did not see such workflow automation editor in any of your videos. Can you please elaborate?

7) I checked some of the demo landing pages created using Pirsonal. On those pages the videos in the Hero section plays very sluggishly. It takes lot of time to initiate the videos. That is a big concern. Can you please elaborate more about the underlying infrastructure you are using for hosting the videos? And what will be the scenario when you will reach to hundreds and thousands of customers playing thousands and millions of videos simultaneously?

8) Can I have more than one CTAs on the video? e.g. I want two buttons at the end of the video or when the video is paused - "Book a Room Now" and "Learn More". Is it possible? How many such buttons can I add? Do you have any example to see?

9) Rather than depending on external integrations through Zapier or Pabbly (which adds more cost to the campaign), I would be interested in more native integrations. Can you please tell me what all native integrations are currently supported and what all are in plan for next 6-months?

10) Are your landing pages and video player responsive? Can it be played on any device with any screen aspect ratio?

5) You have mentioned that you support webhooks. Is it both way webhooks (to send as well as receive data) or is it only for sending the data?

👉 Webhooks work on a project/template basis. Right now, only FROM Pirsonal.

To send data TO our platform using webhooks, you can use tools like Zapier, Integromat, or our API.

When we see that there is an increasing need of proving a default option TO our platform, we'll add it.

My Use Case: As explained above in point 4, I have enquiry form on my website which supports outgoing webhook (so it can send the data out), but can your application take that data on the fly using incoming webhook? If yes, can you please show the video on this as I did not see it on your YT channel.

👉 Yes, Pirsonal can take the data on the fly using incoming webhooks via Zapier, Integromat, or applications with a similar approach (Webhook with structure data that allows mapping the fields).

We do not have educational content about this, but we'll add it in the following 10-15 days.

6) How do I create the conditional flow chart or work flow inside Pirsonal? e.g. if "this" happens, do "that" - I did not see such workflow automation editor in any of your videos. Can you please elaborate?

👉 This is commonly done from the data source itself (example: Zapier, ActiveCampaign, Integromat, etc.). Would love to know what you have in mind and explore what's the best way to make it possible if it is aligned with our product vision. 7) I checked some of the demo landing pages created using Pirsonal. On those pages the videos in the Hero section plays very sluggishly. It takes lot of time to initiate the videos. That is a big concern. Can you please elaborate more about the underlying infrastructure you are using for hosting the videos? And what will be the scenario when you will reach to hundreds and thousands of customers playing thousands and millions of videos simultaneously?

👉 Please provide the links so that we can double-check if there was an issue at some point.

👉 We offer different hosting options. 1) Hosted by Pirsonal, 2) You provide the video link 3) Amazon S3 Integration. Remember that the background video can be static or dynamic. If it is dynamic, the video source will be provided at run time from your data source.

👉 Videos hosted by Pirsonal that use Pirsonal Player / Pirsonal Pages only run on a third-party, global content delivery network (CDN) from a trusted vendor, powered by adaptive streaming. Sometimes, if you are the first person watching a video in a CDN area, the video is loaded in the area for the first time and it goes a bit slower (the first time). Also, it is important to take into consideration the user's internet connection, device, and more.

8) Can I have more than one CTAs on the video? e.g. I want two buttons at the end of the video or when the video is paused - "Book a Room Now" and "Learn More". Is it possible? How many such buttons can I add? Do you have any example to see?

👉 Yes. You would do that with the Custom HTML CTA option. At some point we'll: 1) Have a standardized way to do this. 2) We are considering adding our visual editor (Pirsonal Editor) to help you easily design/add different personalized interactive layers.

9) Rather than depending on external integrations through Zapier or Pabbly (which adds more cost to the campaign), I would be interested in more native integrations. Can you please tell me what all native integrations are currently supported and what all are in plan for next 6-months?

👉 It makes perfect sense. Current native integrations: Mailchimp (to update audiences), Google Analytics (to send events), Zapier. Our API is available to all accounts without limitations so far, so anyone can create connections with our personalization software.

11) I saw that one user asked something about "Pirsonal Engine Add-on". But I did not see much information about it on the deal page. What is this all about? What does it do and is it included in this LTD?

👉 It is not included in this LTD. It's the software to render personalized video files at scale, automatically. The reason why it is not included is that it uses a lot of processing power. We want to make sure we offer a great experience to all of our clients long-term. Still, we are brainstorming.

Our goal at Pirsonal is to help any organization evoke a reaction from its saturated audiences, one person at a time, automatically.

We realized that marketers approaching personalized video marketing had a hard time executing their campaigns on time and on budget. But still, most of them already had video content they could use for their 1-to-1 marketing and most of them loved the fact that they could add personalized calls to action and create personalized landing pages easily.

So, we thought, how about if allow them to do this by simply using our interactive video player and personalized landing pages as a standalone product?

@Josias: Thanks a lot for taking time to answer all my questions at length. I really appreciate this and I would always love to buy such LTDs where founder or the team is really efficient in answering customers' queries. This SaaS has a bright future.

Some of the queries are still not clear though from your answers. But I will not go into details of those at the moment except one.

My biggest concern right now is only this one -

I have an enquiry form on my website (Its developed using BitForm which supports sending the data out using webhooks). If visitor fills us the form and submits it, I want to show them personalized videos based on the options they have selected in my BitForm. This is what is really important for me at the moment. And I want this to happen without zapier, pabbly or any other integrators. BitForm supports webhooks so it can send data to any software which supports incoming webhooks.

So, can I use Pirsonal (without zapier, pabbly etc.) to take the data in real time from my BitForm and display appropriate video? If yes, can you please show me the video of this before your deal ends on SaaS Mantra?

We support webhooks on a Project/Template basis.

These are your right-away options:

👉 Add a webhook to your project so that whenever a personalized call to action is created, you application is updated. You need to manage on your side what happens (redirect, etc.), as we have no access to do this.

👉 Create a video/landing based on webhook data. This is possible, but you would need to use our API or an integrations platform (Zapier, etc.). I understand this is not what you want. This is in the roadmap already and we are gathering info: https://pirsonal.sleekplan.app/feedback/4612/.
