You cannot remember everything. But your work might require you to remember ideas, notes, to-do lists, client requirements, and more.

That's a lot of stuff, isn't it?

You have ideas to share with your friends and teammates. You also need to take a lot of notes, set up reminders, edit documents, etc.

And most importantly, you will need to sync all the data & information across multiple devices.

Introducing Nimbus

From taking notes to creating internal wikis, capturing data to clipping web pages, Nimbus has you covered.

Why Nimbus?

  • Access your information from anywhere in the world, and share with your team
  • Easily sync your content across all devices and even access offline
  • Best suited for Individuals and Teams who need a centralized workplace
  • All the three tools are included: Nimbus Note, Nimbus Capture & Nimbus Clipper

Today, we are bringing you the complete package of Nimbus (say whaaat?!), which consists of three products:

1) Nimbus Note

2) Nimbus Capture

3) Nimbus Clipper

Let’s take a quick look at the top features of each of the products.

Nimbus Note

Unlike similar tools in the market, Nimbus Note is built on blocks. You can:

  • Convert Tables into Databases - Create a table, add the fields, resize & style to match your needs. Add almost any type of content you want

  • Create public links - You can share your notes & documents with anyone by using a public link, or, you can create a password to share with a specific group of people

  • Use OCR technology - You can extract the content from PDFs, images, and other documents to add them to your Notes. No more retyping, hurrah!

  • Send emails to take notes - Now you can create notes by sending an email to your private Nimbus Inbox

  • Add tags - Nimbus is all about keeping your data organized for you. With tags, you can search all documents across workspaces to pull the relevant information

  • Link internally - All you need to do is type @, and select the note you want to link to

  • Use the business card scanner - Now you can scan & save your billing statements, payment receipts, and easily add them to your Note

Nimbus Capture

Still sending instructions to your teammates by email? You can share visual media instead with Nimbus Capture.

  • Record & annotate - Create screenshots & screencasts, and add annotations to highlight edits/changes

  • Capture web pages - Capture complete web pages, or just part of a page and add them to your notes directly

  • Video protection - If you record a video for internal purposes, create a password to protect the video and share it only with your team

Nimbus Clipper

From web pages to emails, you can clip anything with Nimbus Clipper and send it to your Notes.

  • Clip from PDFs - Let's say you're reading a white paper and you come across an interesting piece of data. Just clip it with Nimbus Clipper & send it to your colleague (who is now a part of your Nimbus workspace)

  • Clip only what you want - With Nimbus Clipper, you can clip an entire article or various parts of a single web page

  • Add tasks to your clips - You can create tasks in your clips and also set reminders for them

There's plenty more to cover for each product, but we know you want to start with Nimbus and explore on your own.

Today, we have the business pro plan for $69/lifetime for you.

For the price of $69, you can bring your team (of 5 members) onto Nimbus to start collaborating.

And of course, this includes future updates & integrations too.

Here’s the complete product roadmap that awaits your input.

Got a bigger team & want to onboard them all to Nimbus? Don't worry!

The Nimbus team decided to be very generous to the SaaS Mantra Family. You can stack as many deals as you want, to bring your whole team together.

Brilliant

Thank you Nimbus and SaasMantra for bringing this deal. We've already put it to use out in very remote indigenous communities out in Australia, capturing notes about traditional culture and bush medicines. It is easy to use and a solid package. Super happy with this one!!!

Nice deal

Been using the free Nimbus Clipper for years. Love it. Saw this deal and decided to move my notes over to Nimbus too.

I use this as a personal tool but it's good to know I can add 4 more people if I want to collaborate on something.

Note - Desktop app:
It's nice and easy to use. You have 5GB/month of transfer bandwidth on external app, beware if you have to send large files.
I can't find a minimize on startup option. Please add it to desktop app, if not already there.

Capture - Desktop app:
Works good. Except that it does not have Text Arrow like on the browser version. So I have to draw a text box and then an arrow.

All Web app:
Works great without bandwidth concerns.

Nimbus 2000, all the magic under one roof!

Finally, I found a solution to put all my needs under one roof of Nimbus Note.

I can create an easy note with a reminder. Also, I can create a folder with my project and put inside all graphic manuals, images, documents, colors, and tasks, goals etc... And share everything? YES!

Simply AWESOME! On all devices (love)

My life is much better and lighter now.

Thanks to all behind Nimbus!

Love it!

As a keen user of evernote and zoho notes, this is actually really quite good :)

The UI looks great, the mac app works like a charm. I can't wait to install this on my android tablet and phone when I get a moment.

Well done guys, I can't believe I haven't heard of nimbus before. As Sampath said this is a no brainer :)

Moving forwards, I understand you guys plan to ditch the monthly storage allowance for a set storage limit. I can understand the financial reason to do this, but I would still suggest keeping a small monthly allowance on top of the total storage limit for 3 key reasons:

1/ It gives users the perception that the storage will meet their daily needs today and for years to come.
If you fix it at say 20GB for a monthly paid plan, even though it might meet the needs of 90% of users, the perception will be that after 20GB they will need to pay more to upgrade or will need to delete stuff.

But if you provide say a 1GB or 500MB free monthly allowance on top of the 20GB total storage, then most users will feel they are getting the benefit of Evernote with more storage and a better user experience at a lower price. Plus most users will likely not use most of the 20GB allowance anyway so at the end of the day, you'll still profit the same from the monthly paid user plans.

2/ It provides parity with evernote and the other competitors offering near unlimited storage whilst limiting your exposure to users who will abuse the quota.

3/ The industry is moving towards unlimited everything, so having a hard storage limit will hurt your marketing.

My recommendation would be to simplify your monthly plans in a similar way to how the saasmantra deal was simplified:

-Offer a total storage limit based on the plan (that can be used and pooled across all users instead of a per user limit). For example: Free 2GB, PRO 5GB, BUSINESS 20GB, CORPORATE 100GB
-Offer a smaller monthly free included storage allowance based on the plan (before which it starts digging into the total storage allowance). For example FREE 60MB / PRO 250MB / BUSINESS 1GB / CORPORATE 5GB
-Limit the number of users based on the plan

This would enable you to beat Evernote's free plan and most of the paid plans out there whilst still keeping things nice and profitable and sustainable. And if we are grandfathered to the business plan even better, you'll have an army of nimbus advocates and ambassadors spreading the good gospel to build your community and get more paid customers :)

These are just ideas I think would make nimbus even more of a no brainer, keep up the great work :)

Hey @Chris,
First of all, thank you for your review and rating!

We got many concerns regarding storage and I totally get it. I think we can talk more about it during the Webinar.

Currently, there is no fixed limit and it works the same as for everyone. We plan to move everyone to the fixed model eventually not only LTD users.

We want to be honest and that's why we tell the LTD community in advance even though we understand that right now it backfires a lot. We're long-term thinkers and that's why trustful relationship is important.

Overall for LTD buyers:

- LTD buyers shouldn't worry about it because storage is cheap and we may increase it anyways.

A good example is OCR. Most of our users don't use it much but it turned out among LTD community that is the most required feature as well as import from Evernote :)

We just need to measure current usage first to be sure that we can keep our promises then increase it.

There are several reasons behind that:

1. LTD is a liability for our company and we do our best to keep our promises and being honest instead of promising more that we're capable.

2. You mention other companies with unlimited storage. Please keep in mind that Evernote's business plan costs significantly more, same with others. Which means all users pay for that even those who don't need it.

We will create upgrade packages for OCR and Storage. Those who need that will be able to get as much as they need. BUT it still won't cost more than you would pay if buying a competitor's solution. We need to be competitive, so there is no point for us to make overpriced solution having strong players on the market.

Easy purchase. Nimbus is an awesome all around tool!

I have been a Nimbus user for nearly a decade. I started with FVD Speed Dial and actually chose my browsers based upon whether or not I could have that extension. FVD paired with Eversync, which paired with the Nimbus trifecta of Notes, Capture, and Clipper. These all worked extremely well on Android at a time when most other options did not. Even though I was already heavily invested in Evernote, I used Nimbus in parallel for various specific projects and specific use cases from around 2012 until now.

I pretty much moved everything to Notion at the beginning of 2018 but continue to use Nimbus for many things. Specifically, after being disappointed by the unreliability of CloudApp and Droplr and complicated (albeit powerful) nature of Share X, Nimbus Clipper and Capture are always there for me. Entirely reliable, consistent and easy to use. I just couldn't be bothered to add another subscription payment, especially considering all of the similar LTDs and subs I already have. The Nimbus free plan was so good I wasn't in a hurry to subscribe but I thought about it all the time.

When I saw this deal coming early this a.m. the only question was to stack or not. :-) Easiest purchase I have made in a long time. Overall I am very pleased with the deal and worst case scenario, I get to continue using one of the best available productivity tools with some added premium features. Best case scenario, this deal provides funding and exposure and the tool develops beyond the amazing resource it is today.

There are a couple of cons to the deal that I wish were different but not deal-breakers.
∙ The limit on OCRs is generous but wish it was unlimited, even if just for a limited number of early purchasers or for a small one-time upcharge.
∙ The 10GB of storage total is very limiting. Nimbus had it right to begin with. The progressive model that Evernote pioneered is perfect as it allows users to grow their account infinitely but at a reasonably measured monthly limit/pace. This structure means that someone like me can use Evernote for more than a decade without stressing about deleting files or purging notes to stay under some limit. As it stands, once I hit my 2GB individual limit and eat through the 10GB stack limit I will have to start migrating notes or deleting information/files. As someone who has access to and/or uses several other unlimited tools (Notion, Infinity, Evernote, Milanote, Webjets, Notejoy and many others) the 20GB per stack storage total limit will prevent me from going all-in. Not a huge issue as I will just continue to pair Nimbus with other tools. At a minimum Nimbus should allow third party storage integration.

Hey @Just,

Wow, we glad to see veterans here :) Thank you for your review.

Going back to the old days, we completely changed the editor and now it similar to Notion's block editor but we use different tech. It took almost 3 years.
OCR is the expensive feature to carry on, that's why we had to limit it for LTD otherwise our company will get huge liability and we won't be able to cover the costs of it.

Storage:
Monthly traffic is a confusing model, Evernote's model is not the best user-friendly.
Once we migrate everything to fixed storage, we need to do our measures and we will try to increase it for premium accounts or release very affordable upgrade packages because not everyone needs so much storage and we don't want to put it on shoulders of all users.

Plus don't forget our pricing is more affordable compared to others.

Pavel.

@Pavel I agree with @Just the hard limits don't play nice with LTDs, actually they break the LTD concept since it limits them. A monthly renewable model makes more sense and respects the LTD spirit.
Please reconsider your position, I rather have 50 OCRs per month than a fixed 1000. And a 1Gig monthly upload limit than a fixed 10Gb limit, only with changes like those this deal can be truly considered LTD ;-)

Thanks for your consideration

Thank you for getting back and responding. That also gonna help other people to get more details and consider all points.

I want to stress out that we're not a startup company having MVP and craving for cash. That's why we're very careful with our promises even that will drive fewer sales.

We need to see how much LTD accounts going to use data monthly on average. We may increase it once we have at least a basic understanding of the server-side usage (number of uploaded data, number of requests etc).

We just want to be careful with our promises. Or as you suggested, we will keep current data limit storage +add some monthly unlimited uploads but it won't be as high as now. But first, we need to get metrics.

We host everything on Amazon AWS and they charge us not only for storage but also per every file request etc.. every time you run sync -> we need to pay.

The current 20GB per Stack is what almost puts us to 0 in the long term if LTD accounts will use data heavily. Keep in mind that when the company goes to LTD it is a rev-share model. That's why we're here not for money, at the current stage we need your feedback and possible awareness.

+Sampath's team helped us a lot providing useful advice besides just LTD launch. Going to larger LTDs, companies wouldn't get such quality feedback and support from the LTD team.

Sync seems to be extremely buggy and lags by minutes

I have been using Notion as my daily driver. Decided to give Nimbus a go as it seemed similar and had all the native apps. I have been a bit disappointed i would say because i am used to instant sync in case of notion. Sadly Nimbus syncs take time, sometimes minutes.

I will keep it for a while and see if the sync issues are resolved, if not, this might sadly go into the refund zone. Hope the syncing issues are fixed sooner than later.

Not An LTD

This product has an storage limit that can only be solved by deleting your notes or by paying a recurring fee, and that defeats the purpose of the LTD.

When discussing the storage issue, it was announced that Integration with storage solutions will come to Nimbus and many people thought that would solve the problem of the storage limit.

After asking in several occasions about the function of the storage integrations I finally got a clear answer from one of the creators of Nimbus, the integration with 3rd party storage solutions will not work to expand your Nimbus storage limits. And that's the reason I will refund this product. I understand now why the creators of the product were so hesitant in providing a clear answer about the storage integrations.

I don't buy LTDs to get forced later on into paying a monthly fee to be able to use them.

Say, you've stacked 5 deals to get 25 team members, and in future (after the deal ends) you need more, you can upgrade to one of their monthly plans.

At the time of upgrade, you get extra 50% off, because you bought the SaaS Mantra deal

So we are limited to 20 gb lifetime for 5 users? What happens when we need more space? What if we only have 2 users do we still get access to the whole 20 gb? I am thinking 20 gb lifetime is not nearly enough for people that have been using evernote for a long time to transfer... is there a one time small upgrade storage fee?

@Jodi: Yes, you can use the whole 20 GB, regardless of the number of users you have.

For each stack, you get 5 users & 20 GB storage. So, if you have stacked 5 deals, you can still have 2 users & use 100 GB storage.

With that said, Google drive and pCloud integration are expected in the next quarter that should majorly solve the storage issues.

Yesssssssss!!! pCloud and Google Drive Integration! THAT has removed the ONLY concern (storage) that I had with this deal. I currently pay $24/yr for Evernote Plus, which I think they have discontinued. So, in switching to Nimbus will pay for itself in three years. I can live with that, especially if I can offload notes when/if I ever bump into my storage limits . That said, I'm trying really hard not to be a digital hoarder. Maybe switching to Nimbus will give me the incentive to clean up my notes before moving them over :)

Some questions:

1. Is it not possible to give the text a specific HEX color?
2. Does Nimbus Capture only work inside the browser? I take most screenshots outside the browser.
3. Does search in PDF not work?
I tried to add the same PDF in Evernote and Nimbus. Both free versions. Search was working right away in Evernote, but not in Nimbus.

2
Works for desktops. You need to choose the proper option there.
3
In Nimbus, it takes 5-10 minutes to index new documents.
Also, if in PDF there are images, they won't be scanned and searchable.

@Jian: The LTD is $69.

But if you want more than 5 team members, you'd be paying $400/yr approximately.

Whereas with this LTD, you can get the same for $138/one time.

Plus, you can stack as many as you want.

While on the website, if you need more than the costs add up at $400/yr for every 5 team mates.

Hope this helps

If I sign up with say whatevername@emaildomain.com, will everything have "whatevername" appearing everywhere?

Thanks in advance.

In addition to my FB group questions:
1- If you stack for example five codes, you can merge five companies under one account and get five CNAME?
2- Is this fully white labeled? If not, which NimbusNote branding will be seen for admin, users and clients?

@Martin:
1 No, you will need to have 5 individual organizations (once we get it back, plan mid. next week) and enter each code individually .

2
Managers will see nimbus subdomain like when you manage Slack
Regular users will be on your domain and public links also will be on your domain.

There are still references to our service like FAQ page, Contact form etc..

Please hit me on FB, we can discuss details, we want to add additional branding on Public Pages.

Hi. I emailed support questions via the Contact Us in Nimbus as well as emailed to team@nimbusweb.co and still haven't got a reply. You seem to be replying questions here instead so thought I'll ask it here. I bought it, signed up using my gmail for the business account and now all the internal email address for the workspaces starts with my gmail address name instead of my business name. It's one of the functions I most looked forward to using with my purchase as to make it easy for my clients to email notes to the workspace but it's highly the internal email is now too long and not related to my business name. I need it to be mycompany-xxxx.nimbus How do I change that now please urgent?

@wpHipster: You get a CNAME on the organization level.

If you are stacking multiple deals under a single account, you get 1 CNAME.

However, if you bought 10 deals & creating 10 organizations, you get 10 CNAME

Besides, this is a lifetime deal when compared with Notion's monthly.

Also, Notion charges you for each workspace & every teammate. Nimbus has very simple pricing, that charges you for teammates.

Might be a strange question. But why are you using trello to show case your roadmap instead of.. well.. nimbus? On your website you even list "Maintain roadmap and sprint plans" as one of the use cases. This makes me a bit uneasy if you don't even use your own product.. what are you missing from nimbus, which trello can do? https://trello.com/b/yd03OcAi/nimbus-note-roadmap

Hi @Herbert:
That's actually a good question and we also were thinking about what to use.

- We wanted to use a kanban structure because it's quite standard for such things. Less confusion.
- We don't have a kanban board
- We don't have a toggle list yet (which we plan to release)
- Cards let put some additional info inside so the whole thing looks less bulky.

Overall, we could've done via our Public Sharing but we wanted to make it straight forward and reduce the number of questions.

Hi guys 👋,
Nimbus actually looks very promissing. Especially the block- editor makes it very unique. I signed of for a trial an tested it 🙌. But the price model of this LTD feels strange 😕.

20GB of storage... for life... this is not very much. I have red some of your comments that you considering to move to another model. But since this is not fixed, I won't buy. It feels bad somehow.

When I see that you offer 5 user for 5,83 USD/Mo. with all in 20GB of uploaded data in ONE MONTH, this LTD feels like a expensive trail version 🙁.

Let's calculate a little bit:

20GB / 5 User / 24 month timeframe = 0,166 GB (166MB) which one user can use per month. 166MB isn't that much in 2020, isn't it? If you're an agency and work with high resolution pictures, or want to upload PS- files or video files, this limit is a joke. That means, that all LTD users will be forced to upgrade their plans.

It just feels not wrong when paying customers get 20GB of storage per month, for 5,83 USD and LTD buyers get this for 69,- USD. I would like to see 10-15GB of upload / Mo. per LTD stack. Or advise at least a paid addon for a monthly upload limit. But please, no more fixed storage!

From logic point of view alone... sell a LTD with the purpose of long time storage and collecting data... with a fix capacity limit, doesn't sound good, doesn't it? The tool is promoted to remember and organize everything. But with a lifetime limit of 4GB per user? Maybe many of us won't ever use 20GB of uplod / Mo.. But just the fact that you're so limited feels bad.

Don't get me wrong, I like the tool! I like the editor and how smooth everything is running. I also appreciate the decission to run an LTD. But this deal is not a good one (my oppinion based on the facts above). Everybody should think about this limit.

I would really appreciate if you could work out an monthly upload limit for this LTD.

Thanks a lot for your feedback in advance 👍.

Best regards - Matthias

I will copy that I just posted:

@Pavel:

Hi Pavel and thanks for your reply. Well, I get the point of data consumption. And I can totally understand that you can't give 20GB of storage / Mo. per lifetime. Nimbus is really an awesome product and in many ways better than Evernote (in my opinion).

I have no problems with a monthly paying to cover the data costs. Nimbus is great and worth the money! But there should be an advantage for LTD buyers. When you offer 5 User and all in 20GB of upload / Mo. for 5,83 USD (as an special offer of course), I'm afraid to pay 10,- USD for the same in 2 years when my storage limit is reached. Then I don't need this LTD. That's my point.

I just want to tell you my thoughts. Like mentioned, I really like Nimbus and will stack 2 codes anyway. I'm very excited for the webinar and how things will evolve 👍.

Best regards - Matthias 👋

Yeah, I see what you mean. LTD community gets a good deal if the storage is not critical, from our experience not many people go crazy uploading lots of data but as it turned out LTD community has different use cases.

Plus, the deal is stackable as well. So, technically you can get as much storage as you need.

We will try to figure something out later on once we have additional metrics.

We have already built-in the support of multilanguage in our apps but we haven't had time to fully localize them. We can set up a special service for localization but we need active users that will constantly support that.
Our first step is to create FB group and create community of active users.
Then identify if there are enough people representing certain languages and setup localization service for them.

For Evernote, we did limit 300MB per import because Web Browser won't handle more, it may start getting errors.
If you have larger backup, what you can do is export EN folders in pieces.
BUT we don't limit number of Evernote imports, just every backup has to be not larger than 300MB

@Pavel: Why wouldn't web browsers handle more than 300 MB???

It is not that easy to divide your Evernote database in 300 MB backups. Fortunately my Evernote db is not that big but I can imagine the nightmare for those who have huge Evernote databases.

Anyway the biggest disappointment is that it doesn't import neither the note creation date nor the note tags. Shocked...

A) OCRs will be recurring. So, it will be 1,000 OCRs per year, per deal.

1 deal = 1,000 OCR per year
2 deals = 2,000 OCR per year
and so on...

B) The storage limit has been updated to 20 GB per deal.

1 deal = 20 GB
2 deals = 40 GB

& so on...

Hope that helps!

Got it. Sorry for that.

A - right now it is a recurring yearly limit.
B - It will be 20GB per code fixed, 10GB + 2GB per user. It connected to the whole organization, not to particular users. We just didn't explain that well enough in the beginning - that's our bad.

Currently, there is no fixed limit and it works the same as for everyone. We plan to move everyone to the fixed model eventually.

We want to be honest and that's why tell LTD community in advance even though we understand that right now it backfires a lot. We're long-term thinkers and that's why trustful relationship is important.

@Pavel, this SaaS Mantra deal states:
"Today, we have the business pro plan for $69/lifetime for you."

But I just took a looked at the Nimbu's pricing page and I don't see a Business Pro plan, I see a Business Plan and a Pro plan. I also noticed that the Pro Plan and the Business Plan come with no OCR limits and the monthly upload limit we are asking you about, instead of the fixed lifetime limits you are giving us with this deal....

Two questions:

1- To which plan is the SaaS Mantra deal tied to? The Pro Plan? The Business Plan? Both of them? Another Plan?

2- Are you going to change the hard limits on OCR and Storage of this deal and make them recurring, just like the plans you are selling in the Nimbus page?

Thanks

Hi @Alex,
Thank you for bringing that up for the clarification.

Initially, we didn't expect such a huge demand for OCR. Sampath warned us but we didn't think that would be that huge :)

- We use Google and Microsoft tech for OCR as part of our system, which also cost us money. Why? Because certain tech on a really good level have only large companies. That's why we can't provide unlimited or high volume OCR capacity for LTD plans.
- Our business version that on the website has limitations as well but since that a recurring subscription, we can provide higher tiers.
- We didn't put the exact number on a website because usually, people don't use it much. Less information -> Less confusion during purchase. Current information on that page is what usually users most commonly ask.

Let us settle with the first wave of all questions down, then we will invite you all who will be interested in our closed FB group and we will discuss your OCR use cases. If there is such demand -> we can use it for our feature steps but since your guys were the ones who helped us identify that -> we will provide you additional benefits at no cost.

Since not everyone needs it, we don't want to include it in the base package because the pricing will go up for everyone. We will create upgrade packages with additional storage and OCR scans for reasonable pricing. It won't cost an arm and leg.

Hope that makes sense. Let us know if you have additional questions. Also, there is an upcoming webinar and we can discuss that as well.

1. Does this LTD also come with 10GB upload limit PER month or is the total space 10GB?

Hi @Praveen,
Our company is transitioning to fixed storage. Because most of the users are not tech-savvy enough and such model confuses them more rather her then helps. Not everyone knows what "monthly traffic" and "traffic cycle" are.

It is not implemented yet but that what we wanted to be included in the package because that will be changed for everyone anyways. I can't provide exact date yet. Let's say you uploaded more than will be in the fixed plan. Once we launch it you won't pay for the additional cost as overhead. For example, you uploaded 40GB instead of 20GB. We will count it as 20GB to make it fair.

We have the upcoming webinar, we can discuss that as well as OCR in detail.
