From Privacy Policy to a Medical Prescription, Fastdok has got your documentation requirements covered for most cases.

After logging in to your Fastdok account, you can choose the template you want to work with from your dashboard.

You will then be asked to answer a few simple questions to start generating your business document. Just make sure you have your company logo, official email address, etc. to ease the process.

For example, if you choose to create a Work Experience Certificate template, you must first upload your company logo and enter details such as Company name, Postal address, Email address, and Phone number to create the document.

Ok, but needs work

The concept and the UI are good. However, it's bare-bone and the description provided is rather misleading. First: it ONLY generates PDFs: you can't re-use the document or edit anything that's not a pre-determined variable available in the wizard. What's the use of a privacy policy (or any legal document, for that matter) that's only available in a fixed format and content? And since you can't customize the templates, it's all of very limited use ... until that changes, assuming it does, of course. In short, seems to me like a lot of work is needed for this app to be truly useful.

I tried the free version and my initial impression is not the outcome I expected. I tried the business plan template and note that I simply got a one-pager with very little text. Did not make sense.

But more of a concern are some of the questions or responses required to various parts of the business plan. There are no examples or meaningful explanations as to what the question entails.

It would be great to have some more context regarding this. What plans do you have to improve the existing templates and also can we see a good demo video which walks through some of the available templates so we can ascertain the standard of the document being created?

Hello, how are you ensuring the legality of the documents. For instance, if I make a freelancer contract, how do you ensure that the contract will be upheld in U.S. courts with U.S. laws?

@Vik: they are taken from real contracts between parts, we mean by international standard, that they use clause general and standard to be understood by all individuals and businesses, if you want a document of contract between 2 parts, then the document template we offer contains all the necessary clause and basics of a contract.

Hi,

1. It is nice to know that you are concerned about data privacy but are you GDPR compliant. What kind of storage services are you using and where are your servers located?

2. In context of using Invoice and Digital Certificate templates, how will I just text insider master template each time I will be using it and can I add digital signature within your software, if no how am I suppose to do it especially in context of Certificates. Also once search features is developed, can I organize documents by folders and search inside them and can I share particular file like a certificate or invoice with a particular client so that can have their own individual link to view the document (but not an ability to edit it)

3. Can I upload a document and then convert it into editable PDF forms and then allow customers to fill in edit fields and submit the document, so that I can download it.

@Community Member: -As yo can see on the roadmap sharing feature is in development, and the same thing for search, we're a digital company based in Morocco, for role access is not available, your Data is safe, and is just yours, when you choose to delete a document it's completely deleted and not just archived like other softwares

@Ayoub: if we’re unable to create our own templates, it’s honestly going to be very difficult to use Fastdok. If you want to escale this business, you need to empower us (by allowing us to create our own templates) rather than monopolize such a huge burden yourselves. You will never be able to roll out templates as fast as your customers need. Your scalability is going to roll out at turtle speed and that’s only if your customers find your templates useful.

@Bimbisara: Of course, to understand it better, I will explain with an example. when you're a company selling Product X, everytime you want to create an invoice for a customer you need to write product X with it's nomination, but with Items you can add the text as an item and just reuse it when creating invoice. and that's for other documents, you create shortcuts for the text you use the most, and you will need just to select that text at the moment of document creation no need to write it everytime.
