Awesome. Just the tool I was looking for, as a freelancer I always have clients' changing the front-end leading to impediments in the back-end. With the help of Codelia I can define entire content structures with less effort.

Hi. I love the concept and have a few questions:

1. In terms of storage is it really only 1gb per website (or is the storage per website), so 3 stack would be 30 websites of 30gb each?

2. You mention that we cannot self host the back end part of this. So how funded is Codelia and what happens if you close the system down?

3. Can I use the API so that, eg my app users could write (post) a new To do or Note or Agenda item which then features on their app (but no-one else's) with the ability to amend (put) and delete them as they are completed?

@Stephen: Hi,

1. The storage isn’t referred to the number of sites, so if you have 10 GB available you can split them in the way you want for any site.

2. In a case like that all the customers would be notified in time in order to follow a procedure to keep all of their data without compromising their projects.

3. We’re are working to extend the API even to post, update and delete data, so you’ll can absolutely do it! Keep an eye on the roadmap here: https://trello.com/b/NYuJFoj7/codelia-roadmap

hi,

I was tempted by the application, I watched the videos on your website but I did not see how to integrate the application concretely into a hosting and how to integrate it into a framework, I am not necessarily at comfortable with that. If you do another more detailed video on this I think you will have more success.

@wpagencyweb: Hello,

You can see real examples of integrations with popular frameworks at this page: https://codeliacms.com/integrations

You can deploy your final projects on your preferred hosting provider and in any way, for example through FTP or from a Git repository.

We are also working on new videos to show use cases and case studies, so keep an eye on the YouTube channel!

@Hector: Codelia is a content management system with a back-end admin panel and an API, it is a different product. You can achieve the same goal with both products - create a website or an e-commerce - but the way to achieve it is different

Looks god but I have 2 questions;

1. Is the API intended to be only called from a server to compile a page? I was thinking of having a dynamic call of specific elements but realised that this involves exposing the API key. I gave it a try anyway and got Cross-Domain errors.

2. Is there anyway to export the content? It seems important to have the ability and not having our data locked in?

Clap You must login to Clap

Edoardo

@Brian: 1.Yes, call the API from server side because the API key can't be exposed.

2. At the moment you can export through a click only orders and customers as CSV files. We are also working on more complex export features for the other types of content, but in the meantime you can use other ways to export content. For example you can dynamically generate CSV files with a server side language (such as PHP) by looping the content getting it through the API

From the use cases available on https://codeliacms.com can you showcase some real websites executed with the CMS? The HowTo videos are not sufficient to understand the tool potential from a result pov. Thks

@Hugo: Videos are not the documentation, you need to access the Support Area from your account to see it.

Inside the API doc you can find this: "In order to use the API you need to send the Authorization-Token header with the token setted up on Codelia."

Here you can also find API calls made with different languages to see how it works. You can replicate them directly in Postman.

Could you clarify what a “website” means? If we are performing API calls for a chatbot, or an app, or for anything other than the typical meaning of website, how are those counted? Seems like unlimited at tier 1?

Clap You must login to Clap

1 Reply

man-user

Edoardo

2 years ago  Founder

@John: You can use the API even on chatbots, mobile apps or other digital products. You can do unlimited API calls.

For example if you need to distribute the content of a website to a mobile app, you can do it without limits, the website will be subtracted from the total websites number included on your selected plan.

But if you have the same 1 website and you need to make more API calls to other platforms, so for example to a mobile app, a web app and a chatbot, even in this there are no limits, because you are calling the data always from the same website

@Hector: Since Codelia is headless domains and subdomains are not managed through it. You need to host the front-end of your projects with your hosting and domain provider and connect it to the Codelia API in order to retrieve the content that you manage from Codelia

brother you absolutely need a new landing page, what is your target group? enterprise? no-code or low code szene?

put use cases in the header your product is difficult to understand.

put blog + contacts in the footer you have crisp.chat for that that. delete about and home in the header. all users click on the logo at the top left

I would change that too https://imgur.com/a/1iKCTnd check out github

why is the best information only available in the ebook? ebook vs start page = ebook wins

How Codelia work. The benefits of a headless CMS. How Codelia can help developers. How Codelia can help companies.

put the ebook text on the startpage + videos https://www.codeliacms.com/videos-resources

just my two cents :)

I still have a few questions:

no slack channel for question?

codesandbox.io examples?

anyn integration?

server locations?

github account?

what are your plans for the future?

your product is incredible i like it.

2. How many products can i have?

3. Can i connect this with my local ERP?

@Kenny:

1. Through the Codelia API you can create this system by relating pricings to customers.

2. There is no limit to the products you can add, so you can add unlimited products. The only "limit" is the space of your plan used by files (e.g. product images).

3. You can connect Codelia to your ERP through the Codelia API. Thanks to it you can get all of your data in JSON format and manage them in order to make any integrations.

Q-1: Do you have integrations to import/sync products in bulk? integration with google sheet / Airtable etc...

Q-2: Do you offer functions to create a multivendor marketplace?

@Rupesh: A-1: At the moment there is no import integration with other platforms, but one of the next step in our roudmap are the API endpoints to write and add content. Thanks to it will be possible to loop through a CSV file - for example - to bulk upload the content you need. You can check the roadmap here: https://trello.com/b/NYuJFoj7/codelia-roadmap

A-2: There are no options for multivendor marketplace, however through Codelia API you can integrate other platforms that makes you able to create a multivendor marketplace, or develop it on your own
