Great tool, Dont Miss it!!

Great tool for monitoring your websites, backlinks, Rest APIs, SSL Certificates, domain names, etc..

After testing Netumo for a few days, I have to say it's solid. I was looking for a similar tool to monitor my personal and client websites uptime, in addition to some hard-earned backlinks.

It's nice that Netumo looks for the exact string that you define in order to see if it's still there from the source code. Super useful to monitor if the anchor text is still the same, do-follow, and/or if the whole link is still live.

That's my main use case and that's why I grabbed this deal. So, after testing it, I had to come back in order to stack more codes hopefully I can get access to the upcoming SEO feature I've seen in their roadmap.

If you are on the fence, I suggest that you don't miss it. Solid product with brilliant future.

That's my first review on Saasmantra! You've earned it.

Keep up the good work Netumo team.

Must buy!

If you buy too many domains this is a must-buy to track your domain expiry, SSL, uptime-downtime and more. I wish if they had included SMS notifications. But still a good price.

Is there any integration with domain registrars (Godaddy, Namecheap e.t.c.) so you can retrieve our domains and keep them up to date, no need for manual upload? If not, is it o the roadmap and what is the approximate ETA? Thanks

1. 100 Domains Tracked & 100 Websites Monitored

Means 1 domain & unlimited sub-domains?

Or

Each sub-domain also considered as URL?

The above URL & Domain limits are confusing for me.

2. Do we have site UP notifications? like the site is up, it was down for 8 minutes.

@Viswanatha Reddy:

100 TLD domains for domain monitor

and then 100 URLs monitored for website monitoring

2) there is already a notification that the website is now up, and we are also working to add Site has been down for X minutes.

Hi,

1) Can you provide more granular role and access rights for each organizational member?

I'm looking from the perspective of agency hiring freelancers to handle different websites/projects. I don't want Freelancer A to know Freelancer B is working on certain projects and vice versa. Would this be possible for Tier 4 and 5?

2) Do you have plan to revamp the UI/UX next year?

@Azri:

We actually have Agency/Reseller view/plan that gives access to multiple organizations, but I have understood your need. We will evaluate this option.

We launched this UI this year. We plan to continue make it better and add more features as well has some overall enhancements now that we can see it taking shape.

@Ian:

It's the same brand/organization, just different access for different project. Appreciate if you could evaluate and provide answer before the deal ends.

Even if it's not a strict isolation, as long as each members cannot check the CONFIGURATION of each domain trackers/website monitors and they also cannot see to whom each of it belongs to then all is good.

Feedback regarding the downtime notices: it would be nice if - when the site is back up - the "site site is up" notification included how long the site was done.

"Your site is up and okay - it was down for 7 minutes", for example.

I know that Jetpack monitoring does this and that is helpful.

Is there any way to TEST a monitor after setting it up? To make sure it is working?

I don't see any way to do that.

If there is NOT a way, this would be a feature request.

Just something like a button that says "test monitor" or something like that.

Then each notification you have toggled on receives a test notification clearly labeled as such.

As far as I can tell, that test button only tests the website.

I am wanting to test that the notification is working.

If there is no error on the website, I cannot see a way to do that.

@Jon Davis Jr: If you want to test functionality there is an easy way to do that in "real life" scenario. Create a monitor to a specific particular page for a specific keyword, then edit the page to remove that keyword. You should get a No Match notification soon after.

That would seem to be a workaround.

Of course, it would be a much easier workflow to just click a "test notification" button. :-)

It looks like Status Pages are only available per GROUP rather than per SITE or DOMAIN.

Am I missing something? Is that the case?

Hmmm....

In that case, it would be nice to have some additional tagging options.

The way it is I could only do a status page for one site by making a special category for it and only putting that one site in there.

But it would be nice to have the ability to organize things in my account for my own purposes with a tool that has nothing to do with the status page.

As mentioned above, maybe a tagging system?

How do you treat subdomains and inner pages of the same domain when it comes to the limit of website monitoring and domain tracking? For example, abc.mydomain.com, xyc.mydomain.com, mydomain.com/hlk.html, mydomain.com/wxy.php? Do they count as 1 domain?

I have questions about HTML monitoring / Keyword Content Verification. How many proxies do you have to check per minute? Can we extend the monitoring check time to 1 day, 1 week and 2 weeks? To avoid being blocked by the sites? What region do the proxies come from (us, europe, asia)? The Keyword Content Verification function is basic. How many keywords can be added to an added URL?

@kham: Our monitoring is built on Microsoft Azure and we do not rely on the traditional proxy methodology. The checks can only be set up as a frequency of time from 1 to 60 minutes. If blocking by the site is an issue then we suggest to whitelist the IP of the host monitor.netumo.com Our monitoring comes from US. In terms of matching we match via HTML snippet or section, and not keywords, so you would need to put in the section from the page that you want to monitor.

@Ian: Can you extend the number of identified characters? Because the system detects 255 characters in addition to spaces and that is not enough to identify an HTML section. If I understand correctly it is a monitoring tool and only useful for the sites I can own, but not to monitor competitors, at the risk of being blocked?
