Write.. Publish.. Repeat

From blogs to help articles, publish & manage all your content with Brick

From sending instructions to your VA/teammate to emails; blog posts to help articles, you write a lot every single day.

There must be an easier way to publish your content, and help you save tons of time every day.

It’s time to wave goodbye to your procrastination, and write your next piece of content on the go and publish it in less than a minute.

Say Hi to Brick

Brick is a very light-weight CMS that helps you write & publish Blogs, Product Documentation & Help Pages collaboratively with your team.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Collaborate, Write & Publish the content with your Team
  • Alternative to: Notion
  • Manage Unlimited Projects & Domains from a single account
  • Best Suited for: Bloggers, Content Writers, Project Managers

Imagine writing the content in a Google doc, and once you hit publish it’s Live on the web. That’s what Brick does!

To start with, create a new workspace and pick one of the three default themes for your content/blog posts.

Looking for more customization? You can play with the CSS editor & make all the changes you want to.

(Remember, the Brick team is only a click away to help you with this!)

It can be as minimal, professional or more colorful as you want.

You can then invite your team to collaborate with you by sending them the special link to join you. Make sure they’ve also signed up to Brick (the Free tier is good to go)

The WYSIWYG editor allows you to add text, media, tables, custom JS/CSS/HTML (snippets) and social embeds.

The advanced editor gives you full control over the content without worrying about Markdown or Static Site builders.

You can add more pages to your brick website by clicking the "Add Page Inside" option. This comes in handy when you want to build a complete (yet minimalistic) website with Brick, and not just limited to the blog.

Your Brick site can either be hosted as a sub-domain, or you can use your own domain to publish your website.

You can also change the domain name at any time and any links with the page id will work.

Here comes the best part. You can move any of the pages from one website/workspace to another with just 2 clicks.

When you are using Brick for technical documentation, and you only want to share a few pages with your peers/clients, you can just send them the direct link to those pages.

They could only access the specific pages & not the whole documentation (Goodbye to Google docs)

Unlike messy Google Docs. in a giant area, Brick's Workspace allows you to segment pages by tags and filters.

From colours to fonts, private links to public domains, you can customize Brick to match your brand needs easily.

Normally you would be paying $180 per year to avail its premium plan for just 2 custom domains.

Today, you can get the same plan with 5 custom domains and 2 users for just $35 one-time.

And you can stack up to 7 codes and get unlimited Custom domains with 100 Users for a lifetime.

Start publishing...

Thanks for bringing Brick back

I don’t want to waste money on hosting and all the headaches that go with it so I bought Brick as soon as I saw it.

This looks great to get me started and concentrate on my content and collaboration.

Thank you @Sampath.

Simple and a everyday tool

I use Brick mostly for personal notes. But recently I have started using it for my freelance projects, where I embed media into my work to show to clients. It's so easy and quick to use this for a quick preview.

Brick is Wonderful!

I have been using Brick for over a month now, and I really love how lightweight and easy it is to use. One of the best features and most unique features Brick has is CNAME. I'm really looking forward to the private workspaces and further customization with Brick.

Hi,

In the description of this deal I read the following:

"Today, you can get the same plan with 5 custom domains and 2 users for just $19 one-time"

However, the price is listed at $35.

Which price is the real one ?

Hi - how are you getting on with private pages? I asked previously and you stated that development should speed up once the deal is over. However, I can't see anything that has been shipped since deal end. A lot of people are waiting for private pages. Surely you must have some idea as to an ETA?

Hi there

I am excited about Brick.

My use case is: I'd like my students to write, individually or even together, during live Zoom classes.

Do they need to be users? Can you outline how this can be achieved in Brick?

Trying to figure out which tier of the deal would I need to get.

Also, is it possible to keep their work private, I mean not public on the internet but only shared in a group of people?

Thank you in advance and best of luck!

@Len: They need to be users but they can be free users. If you get e.g. tier 4, you will be able to create collaborative workspaces and invite everyone into those workspaces.

We don't have private pages yet but we are working on those.

@Artyom:

Thank you, pal!

"Free users"= they will need to register?

would tier 4 remove such a need?

any ETA for private pages?

@Len: They will need to register, yeah. This is regardless of the tier.

Private pages — no ETA.

Hi. Great tool you have here.

Just wanted to know how to remove the branding in the footer automatically because going in each page to remove it is quite painful. I hope there's an automatic way to do it. Perhaps a toggle in the Settings?

Thanks.

It would be nice if there was an easier way to backup / export a workspace.

Also a question regarding the TOS. It basically gives you complete authority to terminate an account without cause and without warning. It would be nice if this could be adjusted to be more reasonable and also if a terminated account can still retrieve their data.

@Sean: Easier way to export — please create an issue at roadmap.brick.do

Regarding the TOS — for now we'll stick to the generic TOS (simply because we don't have enough experience with service abuse to predict the effect of amending the TOS). As we grow, we'll start making the TOS more specific.

Hi - thinking about purchasing but I am concerned that it looks like development has slowed right down. According to your roadmap it looks like nothing has been added for over a month. The worry is that once the deal is over, development will slow down even further which doesn't bode well for the future of Brick.

@Harry: The last additions were text alignment, block indentation, and a special characters panel (September 30) — that's less than a month ago.

Andrey is currently working on private pages. It's a significant feature and it's taking time. There are a bunch of internal changes in the codebase and database structure that we had to implement for private pages, too.

I expect that after the deal ends, the development should actually speed up — if we stop selling LTDs and start getting monthly recurring revenue, we'll be able to hire more developers. This is the current bottleneck for the development speed.

@Artyom: thanks - I was going off the webinar and seeing things mentioned there were still pending. However, it's great to hear that private pages are next up as that was the deal breaker for me. OK, deal done - looking forward to using Brick!

Hi. I don't understand the concept of workspace. Can you please elaborate on it and define the difference between domain/subdomain?

I've read that "one workspace = one project/one company", but with tier 5+ we would have UNLIMITED custom domain/sub-domains. How can I have an unlimited subdomain where I can put my content, but a limited number of workspace? It makes no sense to me.

Thanks for the support, I'm really looking to buy this great product

@Marco: Each workspace can have unlimited subdomains. It's not "one subdomain per workspace".

E.g. you can have a workspace per company/project, and the workspace would have a bunch of domains (mysite.com, blog.mysite.com, mysite-docs.com, etc) and each would be assigned to a page.

So you can have many different sites related to a project/company, and each project/company corresponds to a single workspace.

Hi - what is a workspace? What is a scenario in which I will need 2, 10 or 100 workspaces?

Clap You must login to Clap

@Hem: A workspace is a collection of pages. You can invite people to collaborate and they would be able to access only the workspaces you invited them to. You can use workspaces to organize projects (one workspace = one project/one company), or if you are making sites for clients you can have one workspace per client.
